AFT Insulation: Your Partner in Residential and Commercial Insulation
Our cellulose insulation, Carbon Smart® Loose-Fill Cellulose, is manufactured from recycled paper fibers, primarily old newsprint and cardboard, in highly efficient electrically driven mills. The insulation is then mixed with fire retardant chemicals and dry binder in an environmentally responsible manner. The binder helps prevent settling, which may reduce the installed thickness of loose-fill cellulose insulation by as much as 25%. The end result is a thermal/acoustical insulation system capable of reducing sound power by up to 60%1 and heating and cooling costs by up to 25%2.
AFT Insulation has developed a complete system for installing cellulose in wall, floor, and attic cavities and a variety of other applications. This includes a foam water sealant that reduces install time and provides superior system hardening over duct putty or hardware store foam. AFT also offers a range of vapor and radiant barriers that can be installed with the insulation in the attic or walls to ensure your space is properly sealed and protected from moisture, vapor, and heat.
